Best Video Format For Instagram
Firstly, do not try and upload massive videos, whatever is downscaled to a maximum size of 1080 pixels (height can be anything, square or otherwise), so uploading ultra-HD videos (or videos with a very high bitrate) is meaningless.
We transcode the video after you upload it, so it will certainly take a bit longer for you to publish a video documents than it does for an image documents. That lets you see a sneak peek of exactly what the video that we will certainly post will resemble by clicking the video icon/ thumbnail on the message.
Expect videos to take a long time much longer than photos to actually upload at your scheduled time and date. This is as a result of their relative filesize when we post it to Instagram.
The length of time can your videos be?
Instagram limits videos to One Minute, so make sure your video is 60 seconds or less or it will be cropped automatically (see Instagram aid file).
How short can your videos be?
videos need to go to the very least 3 secs long or Instagram won't allow us post them (see Instagram aid paper).
Comprehensive video specifications
Videos don't need to be to the listed below spec: however we suggest that if you're outputting video documents especially for the purpose, maintain them shut!
-Make-up Size: maximum width 1080 pixels (elevation anything, although within the very same proportions as photos).
-Framework Rate 29.96 frames each second (max 30fps, yet need to be taken care of, not variable).
-H. 264 codec/ MP4.
-5,500 kbps video bitrate (although Instagram could lower this to 3,500 kbps when we publish it).
-AAC audio codec at 44.1 kHz mono (approximately 128kbps).
File size isn't really particularly limited by Instagram, yet we recommend keeping your videos under 50MB. Schedugram has a 150MB file size restriction when you are posting documents. For reference, many 60 2nd videos uploaded to Schedugram are around 30MB.
