How To Send A Direct Message On Instagram


To send your first DM on Instagram, take an image as you usually would. You can use all the same filters to "DM photos" as you could with all other Instagram articles. When you're ready to send it straight to somebody (or a group of people)-- tap NEXT as usual.


From the Share to food selection to the top of the display, tap DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot below). Now faucet inside the Write a caption ... window, as well as kind out your message (see # 2 in screenshot below).


When you're done composing your message, faucet OK.


Currently scroll via your checklist of Instagram calls as well as tap the circle next to their name to make sure that an environment-friendly "check mark" shows up. NOTE: you can choose greater than one recipient if you intend to share a message or photo with a group of people.

When you prepare to send the photo and message, faucet SEND TO (NAME).
