Open the Facebook application. The app has a blue icon with a white "F." If it's mounted, you'll discover it on your home display (iphone) or in the application drawer (Android).
If you don't have the app, open an internet browser (like Safari or Chrome) and browse to https://www.facebook.com. Check in with your username and password when motivated.

Go to your buddy's profile. You can do this by tapping Close friends by yourself profile, or by keying a good friend's name into the Browse box at the top of the display.
