Giphy, a new start-up from tech studio Betaworks, simply developed a workaround to upload GIFs straight into your Facebook Timeline.
You still need to hit play, as you would with a video clip, in order to see the computer animation. But it's essentially the exact same experience.
UPGRADE from a Facebook speaker: "Facebook does not support animated GIFs."
If you intend to share a GIF on Facebook, very first directly over to Giphy.
Giphy allows you to search through all the GIFs that designers have posted to the website. As soon as you find a GIF you want to share, click the Facebook icon listed below the computer animation.
A typical Facebook share box will certainly pop up. From there, you can decide if you intend to share it on your Timeline, a buddy's timeline, in a group, or in a personal message.
