Giphy, a brand-new startup from tech workshop Betaworks, simply created a workaround to publish GIFs straight into your Facebook Timeline.
You still should strike play, as you would with a video, in order to see the animation. But it's basically the exact same experience.
UPDATE from a Facebook speaker: "Facebook does not support animated GIFs."
If you want to share a GIF on Facebook, first directly over to Giphy.
Giphy allows you to undergo all the GIFs that developers have actually uploaded to the site. As soon as you find a GIF you wish to share, click the Facebook icon below the computer animation.
